The year is 1956, and the Third Reich of Germania and Imperial Japan rule a divided world. To commemorate their victory, they host an annual, grueling motorcycle race called the Axis Tour, running across their conjoined continents from Berlin to Tokyo. The winner is awarded an audience with the highly reclusive Adolf Hitler at the Victor’s Ball in Tokyo. Yael, a survivor of horrific human experimentation in a Nazi death camp, has a unique ability to “skinshift,” or change her physical appearance at will. The resistance has tasked her with a critical mission: assume the identity of last year’s female winner, the revered Adele Wolfe, win the race, and kill Hitler. The deception proves challenging as Yael must contend with the race’s inherent dangers, as well as Adele’s suspicious twin brother, Felix, and her former love interest, Luka, both of whom are also competing in the race. Throughout the journey, flashbacks reveal Yael’s traumatic past, including the experiments that gave her her ability and the loss of her loved ones, whom she remembers with five wolf tattoos on her arm.
