However, Fin has a secret: he possesses powerful domestic magic, which he must keep hidden from a world where witches are often viewed with suspicion. As his past begins to catch up with him, he finds himself having to navigate complex court politics and unexpected challenges. His life becomes even more complicated when he catches the eye of the noblewoman Lady Annika Jenoure, and a “will-they-won’t-they” romance begins to bloom, threatening to expose his hidden life and the magic he’s trying to contain.
