Percy Jackson and the Sea of Monsters is the second booj in the Percy Jackson & the Olympians series.

The magical borders of Camp Half-Blood, which are sustained by Thalia’s pine tree, have been poisoned by a mysterious enemy. The only item with the power to save the camp and heal the tree is the mythical Golden Fleece, which is located on an island in the Sea of Monsters (known to mortals as the Bermuda Triangle). Simultaneously, Percy is alerted through an empathy link that his best friend Grover, who was on a quest to find the lost god Pan, has been captured by the Cyclops Polyphemus on the same island. Percy, Annabeth, and his newly discovered Cyclops half-brother Tyson embark on an unauthorized quest to retrieve the fleece and rescue Grover, facing numerous mythological dangers along the way.
