Maybe Someday

The story follows 22-year-old Sydney Blake, whose life is upended when she discovers her boyfriend and best friend have been having an affair. Devastated and homeless, she is taken in by her neighbor, Ridge Lawson, a talented musician she has been watching play guitar from her balcony. 

Ridge is experiencing severe writer’s block and asks Sydney, who is an aspiring music teacher, to help him write lyrics for his band, Sounds of Cedar. As they collaborate, they develop an intense emotional and creative bond. However, their growing attraction is complicated by the fact that Ridge is deaf and has a long-term girlfriend, Maggie, whom he is fiercely loyal to.
