The story follows two neighbors who are polar opposites but form a deep connection:   Vanessa Price: A famous YouTube travel vlogger who lives by the motto “life’s too short.” She avoids long-term commitments because she has a 50% chance of inheriting ALS, a fatal genetic condition that killed her mother and sister before they reached 30. Her life changes when she unexpectedly gains custody of her infant niece, Grace.    Adrian Copeland: A high-powered, structured criminal defense attorney who lives next door. Despite his workaholic nature and need for control, he steps in to help Vanessa with the baby, eventually becoming the “Secret Baby Tamer”. As their friendship turns into a “slow-burn” romance, Vanessa must decide if she is willing to risk her heart on a future she might not see.
